GSP Time Attack – Top 3 Finisher

The Godspeed Project does it again. GSP secures another top three finish in the Redline Time Attack, April 24th at the Las Vegas Speedway.
The GSP team made its first impression at the first round of RTA at Button Willow, driver Ken Xu took a 2nd place win in the Drift Class.
This time, driver Eddie Lim continued the winning streak for GSP, taking a 3rd place finish in the Street Tire RWD class, finishing a strong 01:55.049. This was a great accomplishment, given the mechanical issues of the day, and running the car with almost no boost.
It’s amazing that GSP made it out to this round of RTA, because just a few days ago, the car was sitting in the shop with a blown motor. The team struggled and pulled all nighters getting the car back together in time for the event.
Add another one to the God Speed Project record, and stay tuned for the next round of RTA: May 29-30 at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana CA.

Remember the beautiful Randyl Hustrulid, aka Randy Dawn. In case you don’t here’s a little throwback, photo shoot of when ILVM featured Randyl Dawn, when she was still Miss “Hustrulid.” Now, Randyl Dawn is one of the official Falken Models and you can see her at most, if now all of the Formula Drift events and more. Formula D Tech Day at UTI before Long Beach

Here’s a short video of the Formula D Tech Day at the Universal Technical Institute in Rancho Cucamonga Ca. Charles Ng – Race Car Driver

Many Know Charles Ng, for the quick impact he has had in the Formula Drift series, by becoming the 2009 FD Pro Am champion at Irwindale and ranking 7th in the national series. And, this past week, Charles ranked 29 in his first professional Formula Drift run at Long Beach. Charles is now hot on the internet, running the LS6 powered RX7 previously owned by Mike Essa. But he is not to be confused with his new car scheme, representing his homeland of Hong Kong.

Charles has also been invited to the Formula Drift Singapore series in Asia, April 24th-25th. Charles will be a featured driver, and run the series, in this RHD 400hp R33 GTS, sponsored by Kumho tires.

However, Charles is much more than only a Drifter. Charles is a traditional race car driver and international Champion. His resume includes winning the famous USA Skip Barber Mazdaspeed MX-5 Challenge West 2008/2009 and receiving the rookie of the year award amongst others. He debuted at the 2009 Redline Time Attack Season Opener with a win in the Modified Rear wheel drive category, dominating the rest of the class by over 3 seconds. Charles has been racing since he was 18 years old, and we believe he will become a renowned motor sport champion known by many.
